The Story

Where would use use a rivet nut?
When doing wire cable balustrade or glass balustrade you need to be able fix the glass clamps or wire fittings to the stainless steel posts.
Using a rivet nut is one of the best methods of creating a secure fixing.
Being a right hand thread, it will work with other right hand thread products; including IF128X, SSW056-6 and SSW057-6.
For more information, please click here to download a PDF that shows where this part would be used for wire cabling.

How do I install it?
To be able to correctly secure the rivet nut into the post you will need to use the rivet nut tool (IF124X).
Drill a 9mm diameter hole in the metal post (round or square), then use the tool to secure the nut in position.
The rivet nut will fasten to material with a wall thickness of 0.7 to 4.0mm
