Plain Post for Angled Balustrade - Black

A 50x50mm black aluminium plain post, designed to cut on an angle to suit a stair. 

It comes plain, but is provided with 20x black rivet nuts (10 left hand thread and 10 right hand thread) which will need to be fixed in place if being used as an end post.

If being used as an intermediate post, we recommend using installing one every 1.5m if using any of our 3.2mm wire balustrading kits.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ 

This product requires cutting and drilling before installation.

The post is supplied at 1100mm in height and must be trimmed by the installer to the required height and angle. As it is made from aluminium, the process of trimming it is far easier than equivalent styled posts made in stainless steel. The top of the post must be cut to an angle between 33° and 38° so the angled top plate can be fitted correctly.

If the post is being used as an intermediate post, the installer will need to drill the holes for the wire runs in the correct positions.

If the post is being used as an end post, the installer will need to drill the holes large enough to accept the supplied nutserts, which must then be installed into the post. Installing the nutserts requires a rivet nut tool, which is sold separately (IF124X).
