Where would you normally use Stainless Wire Balustrade Kit T ?
For hydraulically swaged 3.2mm cable balustrading between metal posts with a rounded surface.
This kit can be used for angled balustrade. (Not suitable for horizontal balustrade. For a matching horiontal balustrade kit see Kit K).
This kit is not suitable for use on posts over 50mm in width.
What parts make up the kit ?
1 x SSW056-6 (M6 Terminal Right Hand Thread)
1 x SSW071-6 (Dome Head Terminal)
1 x SSW072-6 (Hex Head Tensioner)
1 x SSW087-6 (Small 37 Degree Collar for Round Surfaces)
1 X SSW088-6 (Large 37 Degree Collar for Round Surfaces)
What are the fittings made out of ?
316 Stainless Steel, which means they can be used both in external and internal application.
Which wire cable rope is best suited ?
The fittings will work only with 3.2mm stainless wire cable rope.
1 x 19 configuration for the cable is the best fit, but 7 x 7 and 7 x 19 will also work.
Which tools do I need ?
The SSW056-6 (M6 Terminal Right Hand Thread) and SSW071-6 (Dome Head Terminal) require the use of the IF120X (Hydraulic Swager) to fasten the fitting to the wire.
The other tool that would be handy to complete the job is the IF122X (Wire Cutter).
