Where would you normally use Stainless Wire Balustrade Kit K ?
For hydraulically swaged 3.2mm cable balustrading between metal posts.
This kit can be used for horizontal balustrade. (Not suitable for angled balustrade. For matching angled balustrade kits see kits S & T).
This kit is not suitable for use on posts over 60mm in width.
What parts make up the kit ?
1 x SSW056-6 (M6 Terminal Right Hand Thread)
1 x SSW071-6 (Dome Head Terminal)
1 x SSW072-6 (Hex Head Tensioner)
What are the fittings made out of ?
316 Stainless Steel, which means they can be used both in external and internal application.
Which wire cable rope is best suited ?
The fittings will work only with 3.2mm stainless wire cable rope.
1 x 19 configuration for the cable is the best fit, but 7 x 7 and 7 x 19 will also work.
Which tools do I need ?
The SSW056-6 (M6 Terminal Right Hand Thread) and SSW071-6 (Dome Head Terminal) require the use of the IF120X (Hydraulic Swager) to fasten the fitting to the wire.
The other tool that would be handy to complete the job is the IF122X (Wire Cutter).
